Driver text messages

This page is for truck drivers. If you received a text about a load and want to know who sent it, what it is for, or how to stop it, everything is here.

Choose whether we text you

Enter your mobile number and tell us whether you want texts about the loads you are dispatched. The checkbox is optional. Tick it to get load texts; leave it unticked and we will never text that number. Either way you can haul the load, share your location on the tracking page or in the driver app, and dispatch will call you instead of texting.

Leave the box unticked and we will not text you; nothing else changes. Consent is not a condition of hauling a load or of any purchase. We never sell or share your number.

Nothing is sent when you submit this. If you ticked the box, you get a text once a broker or carrier dispatches you a load, and every message tells you how to stop. You can change your answer at any time by submitting the form again. If you replied STOP before, text START to the number that texted you — your carrier blocks us until you do, and this form cannot undo it.

Why you got a text

You were dispatched a specific load by a freight broker or carrier that uses LoadSignal to track its freight. The text is about that load and nothing else. We do not send marketing, offers, or load boards, and we never text anyone who has not been assigned a load.

What we send

There are four kinds of message, all of them about the load you are on:

  • A location link. Tapping it opens a page where you choose whether to share your location for that load. You decide on that page, and you can stop sharing at any time.
  • An app link. An invitation to install the LoadSignal driver app, where you can see the load, share your location, and photograph your BOL and POD.
  • A check-in. Dispatch asking for your status or ETA, usually because the tracking has gone quiet.
  • A paperwork reminder. A prompt for the signed delivery receipt before the deadline in the load agreement.

You can reply to any of them. Replies go to the dispatcher handling your load.

The first text carries a link to that load's tracking page. The link is unique to the load and expires with it, so the page cannot be opened by anyone who was not sent it. This is what that page shows, word for word. Sharing location and getting texts are two separate choices:

Turning this on lets dispatch see your live position for load [load number], so they can give the customer an accurate ETA without calling you. No account or app install needed — this link expires automatically.

The checkbox is the consent. It starts unticked, it is optional, and the location button works whether or not it is ticked. The three names in it link to this page, the Privacy Policy and the Terms. A driver who unticks it is not texted again; a driver who does nothing on this page is not tracked and can still reply STOP to the text.

How often, and what it costs

Message frequency varies with the load, usually a few texts per load. LoadSignal does not charge you anything. Message and data rates may apply from your own mobile carrier.

Stopping the texts

Reply STOP to any message and the texts stop. You will get one confirmation and nothing after that. Reply START if you want them again, or HELP to get our contact details.

Stopping the texts does not affect your load, your pay, or your standing with the broker. It means dispatch will call you instead.

Where your number came from

The broker or carrier that dispatched you entered your mobile number when they assigned the load, so that they could reach you about it. That is the same number they would call. We do not buy, rent, or collect phone numbers from anywhere else. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

If you believe you were texted in error, reply STOP or email us and we will remove your number.

Who we are

LoadSignal AI is freight track-and-trace software operated by Nick Squared LLC. Brokers and carriers use it to follow their loads. The company named in the text is the broker or carrier you are hauling for; LoadSignal is the platform sending on their behalf. The terms that govern these messages are in our Terms of Service.
